The New Liskeard Branch of the Community of Christ is celebrating its 100 Anniversary this August 31 to September 2, 2012

Friday - Aug. 31 – 7:00 p.m. – Registration & Visiting
(Please bring items for the Silent Auction – Thank You)

Saturday - Sept. 1 - 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Breakfast – Free Will Offering
- 10:00 a.m. – Silent Auction Open
- 10:30 a.m. – Evangelist Clair Shepherdson presenting the book he has written about this branch of the Community of Christ, and a Remember When Sharing Time
- Activities for the children
- 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Lunch (on your own – lots of great places to eat around town)
- 1:00 p.m. – Welcome & Official Opening - Gymnasium
- 3:30 p.m. – Presentation Apostle Susan (Skoor) Oxley – World Church Apostle
- 5:30 p.m. – Silent Auction Closes
- 5:30 p.m. – Catered supper – register early – $20.00 only 100 tickets available
- 7:00 p.m. – Talent show (bring your talents & register) & Silent Auction
- 9:00 p.m. – Snacks

Sunday - Sept. 2 - Service – 10:00 a.m. – Apostle Susan (Skoor) Oxley
- Soup & Sandwich lunch (following church) – Free Will Offering
- 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Canadian East Mission Presentation – High Priest Carmen Thompson
- 7:00 p.m. – Euchre Tournament & other games.
Business:

1. Register so we have some idea how many to expect and register for the supper as well.
2. Order the book, “Celebrating a Century”, that Clair Shepherdson has written.
3. Bring items for Silent Auction – to help defray some expenses.
4. Bring talent for Talent Show i.e. musical instruments, stories, skits, YOU
5. Bring photo albums, memorabilia, etc. to display.
6. Bring a 12” x 12” scrapbook page or pages of a church or other organization activity that you experienced here. You might do one about someone who has passed away, or a special event i.e. party, class, group i.e. Scouting, Orioles, etc.. These will be posted around the walls as a “Remember When” and afterwards will be placed in a scrapbook album for remembrances.
