you can be a more effective scriptural preacher!

 

·        The essence of Preaching, what it is and what it isn’t, being   relevant and interesting

·        Finding something to say: the “word” that wants to be spoken

·        Putting form to the sermon, including use of the lectionary;   finding the resources, options and making good choices

·                                Practice; finding focus and direction and getting useful feedback; how to get better as a speaker, whether you are an experienced preacher or not

Wabash Community of Christ is planning to host a Temple School course PA 140 for Elders Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. It is open to anyone interested in taking the course including non priesthood. Owen Sound Youth Protection Workshop

Child and Youth Protection Workshop

In accordance with the Community of Christ Child Protection Policy, all persons who work with children and youth must be registered youth workers. This includes but is not limited to:

·  Sunday School teachers and Vacation Bible school staff

·  Youth leaders for Jr. and Sr. High

·  Drivers who transport children or youth to church sponsored events

·  All youth camp/ reunion staff

·  All Priesthood members

Registration requires references, informal interviews and a short training course.
